ABOUT L.O.V.E.

Love Of Vietnam Expressed, Inc. (L.O.V.E.), is a Christian social service/relief mission.  The work began in 1981, serving Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Laotian immigrants arriving into the Pensacola, Florida area. L.O.V.E. (called "S. E. Asian Ministries" at that time) sponsored many families into the Pensacola area, working with many different churches to resettle Southeast Asian refugees.

DaNang

Da Nang, Viet Nam

Our base of operations.
We serve families in Thang Binh, Dai Loc, Thanh Quyt, and Hoi An areas of Quang Nam Providence
and all Districts of Da Nang.

L.O.V.E.'s MISSION is focused on 4 areas of commitment:

1.  Helping children escape the cycle of poverty - Programs & Support include:

a. Scholarships

We are committed to keeping poor children in school by providing scholarships that pay for school fees and supplies.

b. Child Sponsorship

In addition to a scholarship, Sponsorships provide additional funds for extra classes, medical insurance, dental care, school supplies, nutrition, clothing, and other needs. It also allows you to build a relationship with a child and family, become an extension of their family, and be an encouragement to them. You will follow the progress of the child and be able to communicate with the child and/or family.

c. Family Sponsorship

In addition to the above, this sponsorship program nearly doubles funding for education, helping other children in a family.

d. Students in Vocational School, College or University

Free or reduced-cost housing needs for those from outside Da Nang, scholarships, sponsorships, house furnishings, gas stoves, fans, and computers.

2.  Other Mission Groups

We are committed to contacting, encouraging, and inviting medical and dental teams, church groups, short-term mission teams, and other groups to come to Vietnam and assist in helping the poor and needy here. Contact us for more information.

3.  Emergency Aid & Disaster Relief

As funds allow, we provide emergency aid, repair/rebuild homes, etc. We also provide medical assistance to remote villages.

4.  Encouraging the People

. . . by demonstrating the love of the Lord Jesus Christ, by offering them hope, by helping them to become a blessing to the country of Vietnam, and by inviting them to church.
