You may never see anything like this again!
The staff insisted that we model the rain
coats we will distribute to children next
month. A great big “Thank you!” to a
wonderful sponsor from England and our other
European friends in Germany and surrounding
countries who have made this possible, also
to our prayer partners all over the world.
We will distribute in September and show you
pictures next month. October begins the
rainy season. |

Here my daughters and I show off the rain
coats and we also invite you to “Walk In
LOVE” |
Here is a long time sponsor from The United
States who visited their sponsored family
for the first time:
My wife and I had the pleasure of being
in Vietnam. It was wonderful to meet the
people we had corresponded with and
supported for 6 years. For many years now we
had considered the family we have been
helping as part of our own family so when we
met them it was not like they were strangers
but part of our own family. When we visited
the mother of the children we have grown to
know and love she made us a traditional
Vietnamese meal (on two different occasions)
that would rival anything you would find in
a restaurant. She and her children made us
feel like we were at home enjoying a meal
together and the time we spent with them
later made us feel very welcome.
During our time in Vietnam we traveled
around and saw some of the country with the
child we have been supporting (she is no
longer a child but is now 20 years old and
is finishing her schooling) and Phuong, our
interpreter who works for L.O.V.E. (who made
us feel very welcome indeed). Walks on the
beach, many enjoyable conversations, eating
a lot of good food, laughing together,
listening to each other’s hopes and dreams
for the future, were all a part of the
wonderful time we had as guests of LOVE and
our family so far away from home. Perhaps
one day we will do it all again.... we'll
just have to wait and see what the future
brings our way.

Sponsors Needed
Right now, there is a needy child living in
poverty who is waiting for a caring person
like you. We have many children who need
sponsors.
To see these children or to fill out an
application go to our web site by clicking
child.
Without your help, many of these will not
finish school. For just $30 a month you can
see that the child you choose will break the
cycle of poverty by getting a good
education, better food, clothing, and
shelter. For more information about these
children or an application form, you can
also contact
Reggie,
who lives in Danang.
Please pray that we can find sponsors for
all our children and put your prayers to
work by sharing the need with your church,
Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.
PLEASE HELP
Share your love and faith
These children urgently need sponsors who
will support a child for $30 a month or the
whole family for $50 a month, and will pray
for them, write and encourage them. |

About me:
I am the youngest child in a
four-daughter family. I’m in
10th grader. My father died
years ago, therefore, my mother
became the main laborer in the
family. My oldest sister got
married and lives in a separate
house. She cannot help us
financially because she has to
take care of her own family,
especially her epileptic son.
The rest of us always try to do
something to add more income
into our family to release our
mother’s burden after our
school, but it is never easy. I
desire to receive your help to
cover my school fees and to have
a better education.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)
But when you give a
banquet, invite the poor, the
crippled, the lame, the blind,
{14} and you
will be blessed. Although they cannot repay
you, you will be repaid at the resurrection
of the righteous." |
(Luke 19:8-9 NIV) But Zacchaeus stood up
and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and
now I give half of my possessions to the
poor, and if I have cheated anybody out
of anything, I will pay back four times the
amount." {9} Jesus said to him,
"Today salvation
has come to this house, because this man,
too, is a son of Abraham. |
(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who
considers the poor; The LORD will deliver
him in time of trouble. The LORD will
preserve him and keep him alive, And he will
be blessed on the earth; You will not
deliver him to the will of his enemies. The
LORD will strengthen him on his bed of
illness; You will sustain him on his
sickbed. |
