MANY ACTIVITIES TOOK PLACE BEFORE THE TET HOLIDAY
|
Giving Food Baskets to Agent Orange Victims
Before the Lunar New Year holiday,
L.O.V.E
responded to the call from Danang Association of Victims of
Agent Orange, to give meaningful food baskets to agent
orange victims being cared for at the Agent Orange Victims
Support Center in Da Nang city, thereby joining hands to
bring a fuller and warmer Tet to many lives.
|
|
Also in January, Synopsys company sponsored and cooperated
with
L.O.V.E
to carry out a program of distributing loving gifts at Hoa
Binh Village - a place to nurture orphans, disabled people
and lonely elderly people.
|
|
|
|
About 80 gifts were given along with music performances,
games, quizzes... bringing a lot of joy to those being cared
for at the Village.

Support to complete sanitation area for ethnic people
In helping a group of Bru ethnic people in a small village
in Quang Tri complete the sanitation area,
L.O.V.E
supported
them with an amount to buy a water tank and plastic pipes.
Thanks to that, surrounding people have clean water to use.
|
|
|
In the beginning of the new year, we had the opportunity to
return to A Luoi to distribute HOPE scholarships to
poor ethnic minority students here, and to give their
families food gifts for Tet ahead.
A good sign is that many students' study results have
improved, as evidenced by their increased love of learning
and the better achievements after the first semester exam.

HOPE Scholarship
(200$/a year) is a scholarship for poor and orphaned
children, living in remote mountainous areas in Vietnam, who
cannot pay tuition and fees at the beginning of the school
year to be able to continue studying.
Currently, there are many poor ethnic children who are
facing dropping out of school halfway and an uncertain
future. To help children and their families have a warm ray
of hope and motivation to rise in life, a sponsorship is
highly recommended..
L.O.V.E
calls on the benefactors around the world to join with us in
the HOPE fund
to provide scholarships to the children.

MY FAMILY:
I am living in a rented house with my mother and younger
brother. My father passed away years ago, so my mother became a
breadwinner in the family. For a living, my mother cleans houses
for people. Therefore, her income is low and unstable. Besides,
my mother has Spina Bifida and Cervical Spondylosis, so she
cannot work on a daily basis. My mother has to spend an amount
for medicine and treatment. Raising two school-aged children is
challenging for my mother, especially in a big city, and she is
trying very hard for my brother and me. My mother is now under a
lot of financial pressure when covering all the family expenses,
rented costs, medical bills and study fees.

|
MY STUDY:
I am now in 11th grade and will take the University Entrance
exam next year, so I am striving to pursue higher education to
get a better future. My favorite subjects are Math and
Literature. My dream is to become a marketer because I like
business. However, I am quite afraid that I can go to university
because of my current circumstances. I long for your help to
release the heavy burden on my mother’s shoulders, and my
learning path is more certain. Please help me!
