We are in need of
SCHOLARSHIPS
for 24 poor Christian students in mountainous areas. They need
tuition money to continue going to school. We are calling for a
donation of
$200/year
for a child so that we can pay for their full school year's fees and
support them with books and school uniforms.

LAST MONTHS
|

|
February was a welcome break for LOVE and the staff. Our staff
returned to work on February 7 and we spent most of the rest of
February for mission trips and March for meeting children, sorting
school reports, translating letters, visiting some new applications,
and visiting all of our sponsored children, especially to check on
some whose financial situation has improved to determine if they
need continued help and how much.
The first months of the year, the weather turned cold. The
atmosphere of this year's Tet is somewhat bleak, partly because of
the weather, mostly because of the epidemic. The street does not
have as many flowers as in previous years. But it doesn't matter; we
still continue our journey of giving love to children and
disadvantaged people in places that need help. What we bring to give
are gifts of food, warm hats and enthusiastic hearts.

We had the opportunity to visit the social protection center of
Quang Ngai province. This is also a place for orphans and elderly
people who have no one to take care of. Also in Quang Ngai, we went
to mountainous children in Son Ha district. We visit and bring food
for the children who have lost their parents and have no one to take
care of them. There are children who have to fend for themselves
from a very young age.
All of the areas
LOVE
have visited and given food support to the disabled, the poor, the
elderly and children are located in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and
Kon-Tum where we are helping the medical cabinet.
Seeing the smiles, the tears, and listening to their tangled thanks,
we know how much these small gifts mean to them.

The trips, the visits, the meetings, the conversations made us
realize that there are many difficult places on this S-shaped piece
of land. But we know that, even though we may go to many places, the
most remote lands, only love from God can reach the deepest part of
man.
And yes, we are running for this…

L.O.V.E.
still continues to need your prayers and financial helps for plan to
distribute books and school uniforms and materials to poor village
schools in mountainous areas.

|
We have received calls from poor churches in mountainous areas and
have surveyed about more than 500 poor students in 3 schools and an
orphanage. After visiting we found that they really need help for
notebooks and school supplies during the new school year (July and
August).
We wish to help each packet with notebooks, pens, handbags and
sandals for we see that these items are very necessary to the
children there before the new school year. There
are many students in these mountainous areas that go to school
barefoot and without a schoolbag or notebooks. The estimated cost
for one packet will 8$ per child and the total cost is $4000.
We will try to bring some of students in our program and
volunteers to the school here so they can hold a happy day with fun
games, and laughs and something to learn too. Yet, we need your
donation to make this very day happen to the children here as they
deserve it.

(Luke 6:38 NKJV) "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure,
pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into
your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be
measured back to you."

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV) But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous." | (Prov 31:8-9 NIV) "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." |
