Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

"Well done my good and faithful servant."

It is with great sadness we inform you that our Founder and Board President,
Mr. Reggie Coward, passed away on September 15, 2021

Reggie lived a devoted life to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through the love for and service to the poor and needy, to give them hope not only in this lifetime but for all eternity. And that is the very reason why L.O.V.E. exists.

A memorial service was held at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, 2118 S. Commerce St., Ardmore, OK 73401 on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 am.

ONLINE MEETINGS WITH SPONSORED CHILDREN

IN AUGUST & SEPTEMBER

Due to the social distancing situation we have not been able to meet the families in person at the meeting places as usual, so over the past two months we have held meetings to update all the situations of families on the online application.

Life is full of surprises. Doors that had to be closed, streets empty of people, places that were once filled with laughter and now no more - are things we never thought of. But that’s what’s going on.

Some passed away in solitude, some stay in tears. Some are struggling to fight until their last breath. No matter how strong we are, there will be times when we find ourselves so helpless and weak, unable to do anything before certain events, surprises and losses in life.

Even so, in those extreme difficulties, love is still like a flame that never fail. There are always hands outstretched to help. Young men and women are willing to contribute their strength. Neighbors share what they have. What is more wonderful than that on earth. People love and live to love each other.

Well, social distancing is necessary, but relational distancing is not. The city can be in lockdown, but people’s hearts are still open. And soon, doors will open, streets will be crowded, and smiles will be on the lips again.

USEFUL EXTRA GIFTS AND OTHER HELPS

“ We can't say more than thank you and thank you so much for your kindness and your help during these difficult days.”

In August – the strictest lockdown period, food supports have been sent to all the sponsored children’s families from the G4kids patrons. Above photos are some of them.

LOVE/G4KIDS helped with with some smart phones and used laptops for neediest students when the new school year has to start with online learning on apps.

These are some of them!

Yes, above are just a few of them

During the 2 month strictest lockdown, L.O.V.E Team and the people were not allowed to go out except some government officers who was the members of Covid-19 prevention Committee. We asked our 2 close friends at the Hoa Bac and Son Tra government to help us on behalf of L.O.V.E to deliver stipend to the families. We also donated some cash gift to help 10 needy families at their area.

BOOKS AND NOTEBOOKS TO QUANG TRI’S STUDENT

L.O.V.E donated 15 sets of 6th grade book, 300 notebooks and 40 boxes of chocolate cakes for a Bru ethnic secondary school in Quang Tri.
