Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Official Newsletter of L.O.V.E.

April 2021

In March, L.O.V.E added

One More Medicine Cabinet Help

for a remote mountainous village of a minority tribe, namely Virongheo of Kontum province, which is located in the central highland of Vietnam. This is also the poor village that L.O.V.E ’s team had visited and distributed food in 2018 Humantarian Mission trip.

The poor village is completely isolated from the streets and has about 120 households there. When the local people in the village  get serious cold, stomachache, bleeding, injuries or any other sickness, it takes them over three hours by motorbike to travel from village to the province center if they want to have medicine or get emergency first aid. But before that they have to cross bumpy, foggy and slippery roads, forests, mountains and of course suffer rains, cold and heat. That is not to mention many families in the village do not have a motorbike to travel. Thus to see that this help is absolutely necessary for this area.

This is also the hometown of our former sponsored student, A Luong- the man in the white shirt. He is a pharmacist, L.O.V.E helped him complete his studies

Some pictures of people coming to ask for medicine. They are extremely excited and grateful for this medicine cabinet

We believe that one of the greatest needs in Vietnam is medical care and we hope to be able to help with it. However we can not do it alone, we really need your support. Please give us your helping hands by adding any amount you can to your monthly donation or if you’re a newcomer, just click here to donate to our General fund.

In Vietnam, students will normally have final tests in May and college students in June or July. March and April will be the time that they need more investment on extra classes and make their efforts to finish a year with a good achievement. To support them G4kids/LOVE gave them extra donations as an extra class fee, which surely showed them that we and sponsors are always next to them.

  Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

The girl needs a sponsor who will support him with $50 a month, and will write and encourage her

About Me:   There are 7 members in my family including my parents, my grandma, my twin sister, and my 2 younger sisters. Our family is from Jarai minority group and we live in the central highland of Vietnam. I and my twin sister recently became the fresh year students; my older twin sister studies at Da Nang University of Education and major in geography; I follow the University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy and my major is general nursing. My two younger siblings at home are in grade 7 and in kindergarten. As two of us recently start our life at university in Da Nang city so the school fee cost, the accommodation, and the daily expense are a real big burden for my parents for now and during the 4 years. They just borrowed money with interest so we can pay for the start of school year. At home, my parents plant the coffee over the years and yearly earn the income from it, yet the income is not high and stable; they also have a small field to raise the rice but it is not really fruitful since our area is not the place for the rice. Our grandma is 80, old and weak, and my parents have to take care of her. Because of our poor situation, I and my twin apply the application and do wish to receive a sponsorship so we are able to follow and finish our 4 years at university.

Family Members:

LOVE’s note: A family sponsorship is highly recommended.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Prov 31:8-9 NIV)  "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."
