Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Thank you so much for continuing to commit, to give and to help poor children and needy people in Vietnam despite the life and financial struggles you may be facing because of Covid-19 pandemic.

“We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean.

But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.”

Covid second lockdown, losing jobs, storms, floods all “disasters” had come in last two months - August and September - but our sponsored children are still truly blessed because of you, dear sponsors. You are still flooding the children and their family with love, care and material help. All We can say is Thank You, Thank You, Thank You so much for what you have done and given to them.

Food supports to very needy sponsored children’s families in last months.

Above are some of them

There are 4 children at the school age in the house. They received cash gift for food support

and SCHOOL STUFF IN THE BEGINNING OF NEW SCHOOL YEAR

L.O.V.E staff memebers feel so happy and blessed when we could distribute uniforms, cash for text books, school bags and the school supplies for the new school year to all our sponsored children in September. These extras are really essential and helpful to the children in the beginning of the school year. Let’s have a look at some of their happy smiles and getting to know a little bit more about their family background.

Cong Khang’s mother has light mental illness. The old grandfather sells the lottery ticket to earn the daily income.

Nguyet and her brother are living with her mother and grandma.

Huyen Tran and her 3 siblings received stuffs. The grandma is the only one who is taking carefor the 4 of them

Oanh is living with her old grandma. Mother died, father deserted her

Giang and her little sister. The single mom is raising 3 of them

Trung Nghia and his sister are living with their Grandparents

Blessing to Bru ethnic children at mountainous area

In the end of September, We visited and celebrated the mid-autumn festival with the Bru ethnic children. Again, thanks to a generous donation from a US Sponsor that we could make it happen. There were about 160 children celebrating the wonderful and happy time with us. Children played games, then received candies, cookies and lanterns.

These two areas are also the places where we set up the medical cabinets to help.

We Are Looking For A Helping Hand From You

We know about the extreme difficulties worldwide in COVID time and that we hope and pray, that people are still able and willing to help the people in Vietnam like before.

Each medical mission trip need $350 - $500 each or at least $1000 for the rest of the year.

Our humanitarian mission needs $1500.

Donations of $10, $15 or $50 add up.

Please pray for what God would have you do.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Prov 31:8-9 NIV)  "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."
