| Love Of Vietnam Expressed by Helping the Poor & Needy | 1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. | www.loveofvn.org |

In October, Ms. My Dong, Vietnam Director, and Ms. Nha Ca, Coordinator of Student Homes, visited all student houses in the program. This aimed to meet and talk with all students and encourage them to do their bests in the new school year as well as welcome the freshmen. At present, we have 10 homes with 55 students. In the northern area of Danang city, we have 2 houses for boys and 1 for girls while we have 4, equally for boys and girls in central part. Toward the south, we have 2 for girls. There has not been any for boys in this area. To the east, we have only 1 for girls. In recent years, the number of poor University/College students from the countryside who need accommodation support in Da Nang is much higher than before. Therefore, in the near future LOVE hopes to open more houses, especially for those studying in colleges in the eastern and southern areas of Danang. However, this also depends on the needs of the students. LOVE wishes to send many thanks to present generous sponsors, and appeals for more kind, helping hands. | | EXTRA DONATION IN OCTOBER “Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.” Proverbs 14:31 (NIV) |

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV) But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous." |
(Prov 31:8-9 NIV) "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." |
(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed. |
God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children! |
