1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know
love, because
He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down
our lives for the brethren. But whoever has
this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts
up his heart from him, how does the
love of God abide
in him? My little children, let us not love
in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. |

TEXTBOOKS AND UNIFORMS
LOVE gives thanks to the Lord and
our sponsors for
helping us give out over 250 textbooks and uniforms
to scholarship and sponsored children this year.
Textbooks and uniforms are two essential and vital
items for a student to enter a new school-year. All
children are happy to get them and grateful to the
great help from their sponsors.

TWO GERMAN SPONSORS’ VISIT
Two of the German G4Kids sponsors spent their
holidays in Southeast Asia and visited their
children.
Meetings between a child and a sponsor are always an
unforgettable experience for both sides:
From June 21 – July 5, we
visited the beautiful country of Vietnam. In the
beginning, we spent 3 days in Hoi An. We met with
the first of our sponsored children. LOVE’s staff
organized a sightseeing tour together by walking and
boating around the beautiful Hoi An ancient city. In
the evening we experienced the special atmosphere of
beautiful colored lanterns in the enchanting little
streets and we were happy to discover the
absolutely delicious Vietnamese food. It was a
fantastic day!
In Da Nang, we had the chance to watch the
International fireworks competition, but what was
even more important to us was the time we could
spend with our sponsored children.
We spent one afternoon and one day with our
sponsored children. On the first day we met the
younger ones in the afternoon and spent a short time
talking together at LOVE’s office. Then, we all had
a joyful time together at Asia Park and took part of
many games there; a ride on the Sun Wheel also. The
end of the wonderful time was a dinner where we
could impress the last feelings and say goodbye to
each other.
Ba Na Hills was the destination of our second
meeting. Here, all the older sponsored children
joined and we had a lot of fun together while
participating in many exciting and thrilling games.
The
ride up in the cable car was picturesque,
giving beautiful views of the hillside and variety
of central Vietnam. Taking this cable car let us see
greenery all around, the richness of the geography
around Da Nang, trickling waterfalls and streams,
and the ocean shimmering in the distance. It was a
fantastic experience for our students, too.
The French Village on top of
Ba Na Hills is a replicated
architectural work of ancient European villages.
With its cooler temperatures and plantings it gave
the kids a little glimpse of our home.
The day ended with a nice dinner at
White-Boat
restaurant on Han River where we enjoyed a great
view of Danang along the river & dragon bridge and
of course with delicious dishes.
All the children and we sponsors felt perfectly
happy with each other and we thank LOVE's staff so
much for giving us a wonderful time!
It is such a wonderful thing to sponsor a child, it
is even more wonderful to meet each other
personally. We'll never forget and we'll keep all
these fantastic memories in our mind. The people of
Vietnam are very warm and friendly and we hope to
come back to this beautiful place once again.

SOME OF MANY EXTRA DONATIONS
IN JULY

Sponsors Needed
Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty
who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have
many children who need sponsors.
To see these children or to fill out an application
go to our web site by clicking
child.
Without your help, many of these will not finish
school. For just $30 a month you can see that the
child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by
getting a good education, better food, clothing, and
shelter. For more information about these children
or an application form, you can also contact
Reggie.
Please pray that we
can find sponsors for all our children and put your
prayers to work by sharing the need with your
church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.
PLEASE HELP
Share your love and faith
These children urgently need sponsors who will
support a child for $30 a month or the whole family
for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and
encourage them.

About me:
My father is the main labor in my
family. He is a painter but his job is
unstable because of his sciatica and
spondylitis. My mother just has a job
when somebody needs and she does things
like cleaning their houses or washing
dishes at food stores. My older brother
gave up his study because my family
couldn’t afford to pay his school fee.
Now, he wants to be an apprentice at
vocational school but it’s impossible in
this situation. My younger sister is at
the age of kindergarten but there isn’t
enough money to send her. I look forward
to your support so that I can continue
to go to school, my brother can learn a
trade at a vocational school and my
sister will be sent to kindergarten next
year.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)
But when you
give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame,
the blind,
and you
will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be
repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."
|
(Prov 31:8-9 NIV) "Speak up for
those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who
are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of
the poor and needy."
|
(Psa
41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who considers the
poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of
trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him
alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You
will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of
illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
