Love Of Vietnam Expressed

Helping the poor and needy

By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.(1 John 3:16-18 NKJV):

Medical Mission

The last Saturday of September, we participated in a medical mission with Christian doctors, nurses, and volunteers from Danang Churches. LOVE’s volunteer, Thanh Trinh, also went and had this to say:

“A few weeks ago I had an opportunity to participate in helping the medical team of Christians provide free medical care and medicine. There were many people who come to get care. Most of them are very old. Doctors, nurses and other volunteers were very friendly. Besides Vietnamese doctors, there was a Korean eye doctor. Although there was a little problem, thank God that everything worked out well. Everybody really felt happy when finished because each person was cared for.”

A letter and extra gift from sponsor

1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity(love), it profiteth me nothing.

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children!
