Love Of Vietnam Expressed By Helping the poor and needy
| (1 John 3:16-18 NKJV) By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. | ||||||||

In June Love will host a young Vietnamese American who comes to do volunteer work for 3 weeks. He is a recent graduate of Liberty University. Also, Mrs. Brigit and her husband from Germany will join us and have plans for many of the children. All children will receive their textbooks and school uniforms material for next school year in June. June will hopefully see the acceptance of a new 3 year MOU with SCP. This is the first step in renewing our NGO status in August.
Visitors from Singapore In April, LOVE warmly greeted 3 kind-hearted Singaporean visitors who stayed in Danang for 4 days. Ms. Liping, one of the three, had been to Vietnam several years ago as part of her college internship and brought her good friend Mrs. Kerin and her cousin Ms. Ai Xin this time. They spent 2 days in Family 3 and 4 of SCP and had several interesting activities with the children there. Among the gifts to the children were clothes, calculators, school bags, notebooks, dictionaries, storybooks and other stationeries which left lots of nice memories for the children and of course the givers. They also helped fund LOVE to make 300 caps for our children in our sponsorship and scholarship programs and presented 16 basic household baskets to our most needy families. LOVE would like to send a big thanks to them and all those who contributed to make this possible. Thank you Lord for sending them to us and we pray You will bless them in their work and personal lives. Let’s have a look some nice pictures below!!!

Sponsors Needed
Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.
To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.
Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.
PLEASE HELP Share your love and faith These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.
(Mark 10:21 NKJV) Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."
(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children!
