Love Of Vietnam Expressed By Helping the poor and needy

July, a month of great activity Wow, what a month July was. We did all our normal activities: Scholarships, rice, sponsored children and families. In addition, we began construction of a house for a Christian mother with 2 children living in a make-shift tent in Dai Loc, Quang Nam. Then, two people from Germany and one from Austria came for 2 weeks to visit many of our sponsored children. We helped with a camping trip for over 600 street children, then a retreat for about 15 of our sponsored children that included trips to Hoi An, Hue, the water park, the beach and much more. Many had never seen the beach, much less all the other places. During all this, we continued to measure children for school uniforms. See pictures below. | |||||||||

Sponsors Needed Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors. To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $25 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang. Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc. PLEASE HELP Share your love and faith These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $25 a month or the whole family for $40 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

Pray! This month we continue another week with the 3 friends from Europe. Then we have guests coming from the US to visit our program and the student house they sponsor. Brian will continue his nearly 6 months with us. He is teaching English to several of the children homes and student houses. We supported over 60 students to go to summer camp. They are there as I write this. Please pray for them also. | |||||||||

About me: My parents do farming in the field from early in the morning until late at night. They grow such kind of vegetables as spinach. They have to work hard to feed and bring up five of us.
