Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

MISSION TRIP IN HOA HIEP NAM SPONSORED BY MS. LOAN HUYNH

LOVE gladly enabled to do 2 mission trips before Tet festival thanks to the donation of two generous sponsors/donors. Like our previous missions, we could only give them some basic household items such as blanket, instant noodles, rice, cookies … but for the recipients, it meant more than that. It helped to bring them a happy cozy Tet with families. The first mission was carried out on February 2 in Hoa Hiep Nam ward, Lien Chieu district, Danang city. We distributed 100 Tet gifts to the poorest families here.

TET GIFTS

Tet is the biggest annual traditional festival in Vietnam and the sponsors really want to give their sponsored children/families a nice cozy Tet by sending them some extra cash gifts. Some children spent them on new clothes while others buy household stuffs for families. Below are some of many photos of children with big grateful smiles.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Prov 31:8-9 NIV)  "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children!
