A STEADY PATH FORWARD: NGUYEN THI NHU HIEN |
Nguyen Thi Nhu Hien is the eldest daughter in a family of four. Growing up, her parents worked as laborers with an unstable income, while also caring for her elderly grandparents who had no pension. With many responsibilities at home, staying in school was sometimes a challenge. During those years, Hien received support from LOVE, which helped ease part of the cost of her education and daily life. More importantly, she had people who checked in, encouraged her, and walked alongside her in a quiet, consistent way. |

Over time, Hien’s academic performance improved. She became more confident in her studies and, early on, began to show a strong interest in working with children. What started as a simple interest grew into a clear direction for her future. After graduating, she began working at FPT Schools, gaining her first professional experience. Today, she is a primary school teacher at Duc Tri Primary School in Da Nang; her early interest has now become a reality. |

Hien’s journey is encouraging, and it reflects what can happen when a student is given the chance to keep going. There are still many children in similar situations, and with the right support, they too can continue their journey, one step at a time. See how you can help others at L.O.V.E.'s Programs |
