MY FAMILY:

My step-father left us a year ago without any contact, so my mother has become the breadwinner in the house. She alone takes care of my little brother, me and my old grandmother who has difficulty walking because of a stroke a few years ago. We are living in a small house in a poor rural area and my mother earns money mainly from farming. She plants vegetables and raises some chickens and then sells them. Her income is low and unstable and depends much on the weather. Besides, my brother is still young and my grandmother also needs a lot of care. My mother alone hardly affords the family's expenses such as my grandmother's medicine and my study fees. She is bearing a big burden on her shoulders.

MY STUDY:

I am in 8 grade this school year. I love my mother very much because I know she is suffering a hard time. I often try to be independent and help my mother look after my little brother. I am quite an active boy at school. I really want to get into a college and then become an architect in the future. With my circumstances, I am afraid that I have to leave school early and cannot reach my dream. I desire a helping hand so that I can follow my study to the end and get a good job to support my family. Please help me!
