MY FAMILY: My family is an ethnic minority family living in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Our main source of income comes from farming and growing crops, so it is very unstable as it depends on the harvest and the weather. Due to the difficult circumstances, my two older sisters had to drop out of school early and get married. I want my life to be better, so I have always made an effort to study and become the only person in my extended family currently attending university. This is something I am proud of, but I am also very worried because the burden of tuition fees is weighing heavily on my parents, and my studies could be interrupted at any time. In recent years, my parents' health has also not been good, especially my mother, who suffers from heart disease and kidney stones, which require additional costs for medication. Therefore, my parents are struggling to support my tuition fees and living expenses while I study away from home. |

MY STUDY: I am currently a second-year student majoring in Vietnamese Studies at the University of Education. Since I was young, I have enjoyed traveling to explore new places and sharing the beauty of my country with others. That is why I chose this field of study, hoping to become a tour guide or work in the tourism industry after graduation. Seeing my parents struggle year-round has motivated me even more to focus on my studies, and I achieved good results in my first year. I hope for your support so that my studies will not be interrupted, and I can achieve my dreams, improve my life, and help ease the burdens of my family. I sincerely thank you. |
