About the area: A Tong A Toi is located in the mountainous district of Dakrong, Quang Tri. The district shares the border with Lao and is one of the poor districts of Quang Tri province. Bru ethnic is about 55% of the district population and they live in villages and each village has about 20-30 families and their houses are mainly built from wood, and leaf. Surrounding the village of A Tong and A Toi is mountain; this place is only good for planting cassava. The many families here use the water from the populated stream to drink and cook as there is no choice for them; sometime they have no water during the hot season. There is no pharmacy or medical station within a radius of 40-50 km. For the people here whose main means of transportation is walking, 40-50 km is a very long distance. They really need medical help there, especially a medicine cabinet with basic medicines. Please support them so they can have good conditions to have a good life. Thank you!
