Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

May 2019

Summary of Our Work Plan

+ In May: visit and investigate new sponsorship applications.

+ In June: collect children’s report cards, make a list of textbooks and uniforms, prepare for delivery in July.

+ In July: distribute textbooks and uniforms to each child and in a family sponsorship, we try to give books and uniforms to at least 1 or more siblings.

+ In August: give textbooks and uniforms to 10th-graders. Meanwhile, keep track with 12th-graders entrance exam results.

+ In September: process 12th-graders results if they find a seat in college or not

In summer, when the school-year ends, LOVE’s staff will be extremely busy with report cards, textbooks, uniforms and reports. So April and May are the suitable months for us to visit new applications for sponsorship program. Over 20 applications were sent to us via the introduction of the local wards and districts. We had visited all of them and chose some for doing new profiles. If you’re called by the Lord and/or interested in being a sponsor of a poor and needy child in Vietnam, please reach out your helping hands to one of our children. You’ll see one of the profiles of those who are definitely waiting for a generous sponsor by scrolling down to the page bottom and look at “PLEASE SPONSOR ME”! “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.”

- Proverbs 22: 9 New International Version (NIV)

May our Lord, the God of the one source of all true wells water you with His abundant blessings!

Here are the house pictures of some poor families that we visited in April.

Mr. Thuan Tran and Mrs. Truc Pham have been helping LOVE’s children for years. At present, they’re sponsoring two families and a student house. On their trip back to Vietnam, their fatherland, they paid a visit to LOVE’s office and their sponsored children in April. There was lots of joy and laughter in the meeting, though it was only a short one over one afternoon during the weekend here. We’re always encouraging sponsors to write often to their children, support them in urgent needs with extra donations and visit them if possible. Please remember that your encouragements are truly precious for them!

They met with children at LOVE’s office – the left picture is with Quang Tue & Bich Nhan while the right is with Ruth house.
