1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know
love, because
He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down
our lives for the brethren. But whoever has
this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts
up his heart from him, how does the
love of God abide
in him? My little children, let us not love
in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. |

CHRISTMAS MISSION TRIP
On December 22, 2017 LOVE had a mission trip to
reach out to the poor, needy families and the elderly in Binh
Tri ward, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province. Here we
gave out 100 family gifts and 80 children ones. As in the
previous years, a family gift includes a blanket, a box of
instant noodles and an envelope of cash. Most of those coming
were the old people and some even live alone without any
children. Some are disabled and could not come so the
neighbor helped. All of them were very happy and grateful to
get such a meaningful gift at the end of the year and many
said thanks to LOVE. We pray that we can increase the number
of gifts next year as 100 is not enough to cover the
number of the poor and the elderly in a remote region. We
also need more prayers and donations from all of you.

Sponsors Needed
Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is
waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children
who need sponsors.
To see these children or to fill out an application go to
our web site by clicking
child.
Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For
just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will
break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education,
better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information
about these children or an application form, you can also
contact
Reggie.
Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children
and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your
church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.
PLEASE HELP
Share your love and
faith
These
children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for
$30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will
pray for them, write and encourage them.

About me:
My family is very needy and quite crowded now.
Only my father, a mason who has an unstable and
low income, is the main earner in my family and
he can earn nothing during the months of rainy
season. My mother had born 4 children for my
father before she deserted us. My father then
remarried, my step mother was an accountant
before she bore a baby girl lately for my
father. She is now staying at home to take care
of the baby and us and accompanying her is our
grandma who is old and often endures vestibular
disorder and ischemia. We have been living in a
small rented room for years. As a result, the
burdens of paying the rented-room, school fees,
daily basic needs and food are badly heavy on my
father’s shoulders. He and our grandma often
have to borrow money with interest for family’s
expenses. Our entire family definitely needs a
helping hand monthly to help us overcome this
severe condition. I definitely want to stay at
school, to work hard and to reach a better
future and I do wish the same for my siblings.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)
But when you
give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame,
the blind,
and you
will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be
repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Prov 31:8-9 NIV) "Speak up for
those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who
are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of
the poor and needy."
|
(Psa
41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who considers the
poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of
trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him
alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You
will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of
illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
