Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

HUMANITARIAN MISSION TRIP IN DECEMBER

Thank God, our mission trip to give out 100 gifts to the poor elderly was happily done on December 26, 2016. 70 gifts were given out in Binh Tu ward, Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province and 30 were for those in a poor small church in Quang Ngai province. Each gift included a blanket, a box of instant noodles and an envelope of cash. Many old people showed up and we could see a lot of beautiful, joyful smiles.

People were sitting down and patiently waiting

Ms. Dong gave a short welcome speech

Distributing the gifts with a nice smile and greeting.

A volunteer heartily helped an old man moving to a seat.

Looking at the pleased smiles of these old people, we seemed to be transmitted more power and love to continue our work. We hope to be able to do more next year.

Hopefuly our gifts will bring warmth and joy to them on Christmas season and New Year.

The distribution was arranged in an order of the commune. All the people were very kind and happy to get the gifts.

SPONSORS KEEP SENDING EXTRA

Christmas is the season of giving. Yes, it’s totally correct. Many sponsors sent gifts to their children and most of the extra donations this month are Christmas gifts.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc. Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

PLEASE HELP

Share your love and faith

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

On behalf of L.O.V.E. and Mr. William, Ms. Dong was honored to receive the certificate and medal given by the Vietnam’s Study Encouragement Society for all the good work that L.O.V.E. has done to transform the lives of the poor and needy children in Son Tra district, Danang city.

Mrs. Sheree firstly joined us as a volunteer visitor, now is the sponsor of 3 families in Danang. Thank you so much for her kind heart. On the left is the picture of her and her daughter with a sponsored child and his mother. On the right is Mrs. Sheree, her daughter and L.O.V.E.’s staff.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Prov 31:8-9 NIV)  "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children!
