Love Of Vietnam Expressed

(1 John 3:16-18 NKJV): By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Official Newsletter of L.O.V.E.

December 2015

All of us at LOVE wish you a very

Merry Christmas

and a

Happy New Year

We hope you will remember to fill a Vietnamese child’s stocking this Christmas and perhaps the cupboard of an elderly person.

This December, we hope to deliver stocking stuffers to hundreds of Vietnamese children and conduct a humanitarian mission, providing blankets and food to 100 or more elderly. Please write "children" or "elderly" on your check or PayPal donation.

Thanks to your generosity, LOVE was able to donate 5 water filters to minority villages in such districts as Quang Ngai province at Son Ha, Tra Bong, Binh Son.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

Share your love and faithThese children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

# Living in the Home:

About me: My father died years ago. Up to now, my mother is the main breadwinner in my family but her income is quite low and unstable. In addition, she does not really have good health. My oldest sister is married and living with her own family. My brother is learning how to make marble sculpture but he is quite slow in learning, and his earning is only enough for his personal needs. My twin sister and I are still in school, but since there is only our mother working in home so things are quite tough for our family in term of finance. I look forward to getting some help so my sister and I can have a better chance to finish our educational road and seek for a good and well-paid job in the future to change our life.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Luke 19:8-9 NIV)  But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."  Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham."

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
