Love Of Vietnam Expressed

Helping the poor and needy

(1 John 3:16-18 NKJV): By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Goodbye to Phan Van Quynh ‘Jessie’

Phan Van Quynh is from Ho Chi Minh City and moved to Da Nang with her husband 2 years ago. Quynh is called to serve God together with her husband, a young pastor. They are blessed with a wonderful child born in 2012. She is passionate in encouraging and inspiring people to live out for Jesus. Quynh found it an honor for her to join LOVE and share God’s love to the Vietnamese people. Quynh was overseeing student housing and assisting in sponsorship project. Because of some difficulties in her pregnancy, she has resigned from LOVE to focus on her children and her husband’s work.

A dinner at a Thai Restaurant to say thank you to Quynh for her service of love to the many children and families of LOVE.

Welcome to Tran Thi Thao Linh

LOVE is please to introduce a new member to our staff. She is Tran Thi Thao Linh. Linh was born and raised in the city of Da Nang. She lives with her mom and finds she's very blessed to believe in God. The 25-year-old realized she wanted to serve the Lord, so she decided to join the LOVE team. Linh wishes she could dedicate her life to God and live with strong faith. Linh wants to share the faith of God with others by helping them.  Linh left a job earning more than twice the salary to follow God’s plan for her life. We are very grateful for her.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

Share your love and faith

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

Please Sponsor me!

About me:   I am the youngest child in a four-daughter family. I am in grade 9 and will be a 10th grader after the summer. My father died years ago, therefore, my mother became the main laborer in the family. My oldest sister got married and lives in a separate house. She cannot help us financially because she has to take care of her own family, especially her epileptic son. The rest of us always try to do something to add more income into our family to release our mother’s burden after our school, but it is never easy.  I desire to receive your help to cover my school fees and to have a better education.

Family members:

* Phan Thi Khanh Linh (1966) - Mother

* Nguyen Dang Anh Thu (1982) (got married & live in a separate house) – Sister

* Nguyen Dang Anh Thi (1994) (2nd  of 3 years student) – Sister

* Nguyen Dang Anh Kieu (1996) (in grade 12th) – Sister

LOVE’s note:  A family sponsorship is highly recommended.

Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, {14} and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Luke 19:8-9 NIV)  But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount." {9} Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

If you live in Europe, please contact our sister-organization www.G4Kids.de
God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children!
