Love Of Vietnam Expressed

Helping the poor and needy

(1 John 3:16-18 NKJV): By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Official Newsletter of  L.O.V.E.

November 2013

Let us give Thanks for what God has done and is doing in our lives.

If you carve a turkey, a ham or a small fish, let us do it with great gratitude in our hearts. Above all let us remember the poor all over the world. Many will go hungry today and every day without our help.

What follows Thanksgiving? That is right, Christmas. Now is the time to send a Christmas card and a gift to your sponsored child. If you can add a little extra, we will use it for our humanitarian mission to provide gifts to many more poor children, in addition to blankets and food.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

Share your love and faith

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

About me:  Now I’m the second year student majoring in Korean bachelor at College of Foreign Language in Da Nang. My oldest brother is a student at Divinity School in Ho Chi Minh city. My youngest brother is in the 8th grade. My father is an evangelist with low income. Our school fee and daily expenses depend on her low income. She’s the main labor and my father and her income can’t cover our school as well as our life. I wish to receive helps so that I and my siblings can continue our study.

(Mark 10:21 NKJV)  Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

If you are interested in sponsoring a child, please check the information by clicking on  child or contact Reggie.

God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children!
