Love Of Vietnam Expressed
Helping the poor and needy
(1 John 3:16-18 NKJV) By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

In June, we delivered monthly stipends, extra gifts, textbooks, and uniforms; and took a group of G4Kids 11th graders to the historic city of Hue. My two granddaughters have returned to their home; Brigit and her husband, Gunther, spent 2 weeks with us; Nhan, a Vietnamese American, was with us 3 weeks; and Jonathan, an American living in HCMC, was here 4 days to visit his sponsored child who just got married, his new sponsored child, and his student house. Now, we have only enough time to take a deep breath to prepare for July.
In July, in addition to our regular activities, we will give caps to all of our children (thanks to our 3 friends from Singapore who visited in April), host a camp for our scholarship children, and begin reviewing new applications from children and families asking for help.
Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.
To see these children or to fill out an application, go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month, you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children, or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.
Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.
Share your love and faith.
These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or a whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write, and encourage them.

From desk of Phuong:
LOVE warmly welcomed Nhan, a young Vietnamese-American man, this June. His aims were to visit and encourage his 3 sponsored children, to do volunteer work for LOVE, and also to return to raise awareness to the youth in the US. Not only did LOVE, but also the children, benefited and receive blessings from his visit. Attached are several pictures.

(Mark 10:21 NKJV) Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."
(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
