Sponsorship Program

Sponsor a Vietnamese child for only $25/month

or sponsor a whole family for $40/month.
   We also have Homes for University Students that need sponsors for $75/month.

 

NOTE:  Because of the double digit inflation here we had to raise the cost of sponsorship so we can provide more money for nutrition. We will not require those who are already sponsoring to increase - that will be voluntary.
 

LOVE's Commitment:
 1. We will send progress reports twice a year and when special needs occur such
     as severe illness.
 2. We will translate all correspondence between you and the child.
 3. We will deliver letters, packages, etc. (many can not recieve mail at their homes).
 
We encourage you to:
 1. Be faithful in your financial commitment.
 2. Build a relationship between you and the child:  Write letters or emails to your child
     at least twice a year. Don't be afraid to share your Christian faith.
 3. Send gifts for birthdays, Christmas, and Tet when you can
     (or send us money and tell us what to buy...that is usually more cost effective.)

*Note: Money sent for gifts as birthday, Christmas, etc. go 100% to the child. We take the child shoppings to see they get value per dollar. No administrative fee is charged.

Other needs: 

$20 can provide glasses for a child

$40 will buy a bicycle

$100 can dig a well, or roof a small house

$50 rent a house 

$60 will buy a gas stove...most cook over wood or charcoal filling the house with smoke

$1,000 will build a 360 sq. ft. house for a family of 3
            -add $300 to enlarge for each additional 100 sq ft  

$75/month will sponsor a home for Christian University Students

About me:
Do Thi Minh Nguyet, 17 months old. Her father, after driving her mother to work, was in a serious traffic accident on the way home causing brain injury. Moreover, his right leg is paralyzed and his windpipe is restricted. At present, he is being treated in a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. They sold everything to pay for his hospital fee and their house is now mortgaged. They have a big debt since her father's accident. In addition, the roof of their house is in very poor condition and has many leaks.
