Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

               Free Congratulations Clipart

L.O.V.E is so excited to say congratulations to over 30 children in our program who have passed into high schools or at least continued their studies in Vocational Schools or in Continuation Centers. We are greatly happy to see no student drop their education because of failing the High school Entrance Exam this year.

Dear L.O.V.E. Students,

L.O.V.E. would like to say that you have done so well and an amazing job! No matter what school you attend, we and all the sponsors do our best to stand by your sides.

Hopefully, youll finish the educational road in the best manner and can support your own families in overcoming poverty in the future.

Well done! Keep it up!!

SOME SHARING FROM A SINGAPOREAN COUPLE

My recent trip to Vietnam taught me that Happiness can be very simple. Happiness is not about whatever success and financial prosperity we may achieve but how we bring happiness and a smile to others. Reaching out to people and sharing the moments that make up our life deepens our understanding of ourselves and others and endows us with genuine happiness we chase elsewhere.” said Mr. Realm Chua. This was the very first time for him and the 2nd time for his wife Jolyn, to meet their sponsored girl. Their sponsorship for her has been for over 6 years now. The first meeting was when she just entered the sponsorship for a few days. They had 2 days in Ba Na hill with good time to talk, to encourage, to laugh, to play and to do some sightseeing together by walking and taking photos.

Sightseeing, playing indoor and outdoor games

Dinner and relaxing times

“Such a wonderful day out with the little girl that I sponsored since 2013, she has grown up to be a pretty and sweet lady. I met her and her mum during my first trip to Da Nang and I remember her as a shy little girl hiding behind her mum. Now, she's taller than me…happy to know that she has benefitted from the sponsorship and is doing well in school. Her dream is to work in a NGO helping out the deaf and spreading the good news to others. Hope it will come true for her in 4 years time!

Thanks LOVE and Nam Phuong for arranging this meet up.”

Student House Sponsors needed

There are so many first-year students that need and desire to stay in one of the student houses of LOVE this year. At the moment, we need a sponsor for Daniel’s House. Sponsoring a boy student house at the moment needs $100 - $150 per month because we would like to provide money for rent & utilities and with an additional $10 - $20 going to their saving fund to help for such things as Summer camp, furniture and outreach activities in the very near future.

God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children!
