Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

YOU CAN HELP

The winter in Danang begins with soggy weather. Frequent and heavy rains throughout October make many streets flooded and muddy. This is the height of rainfall season and it is expected to rain for half of the month. Bad weather does not let us out for visiting families as in summer months but this is definitely a good time for planning and fund raising.

1.     We will be making plans for a humanitarian/charitable mission in December, carrying blankets, foods, clothing, scarves, ect. to a very poor community in Hue or somewhere. In previous years, we did in many remote areas of Quang Nam and Quang Ngai province so this year, we truly would like to reach out in the north direction. The cost of a mission will range from $1,500 - $2,000.

2.     We’re going to provide a Christmas party and/or gifts to each of our children, about $1,000. The children's small Christmas gift is about $3.5 each.

3.     We would like to do or support a medical mission in November or December. About $1,000 per mission.

We are asking you out there to help with a small extra donation to make these things possible. If you can help, please make a donation to LOVE for any amount, for missions or Christmas gifts, by PayPal or check as soon as possible.

BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS

In September, LOVE/G4kids gave out over 260 stipends and nearly 70 extra gifts with about $2,500. This includes helping 25 college students paying school fees, birthday gifts, extra class fees, household baskets and others.

Well-done to you all! Let’s enjoy your children’s smiles.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

 PLEASE HELP

Share your love and faith

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them. ildren were blessed with extra gifts this month!

About me:

I and my mute and deaf brother are being raised by mother alone as my parents divorced a couple years ago. She is a shoe worker in Rieker company; it locates in the industrial zone of Dien Ngoc and about 40 km from our hometown, Dai Loc. Our mother rents a room near her work place for three of us to stay. The cost of paying room rent and our kindergarten fees there obviously takes away half of her monthly wages and this is surely a heavy burden laid on her skinny shoulder in term of finance. Our little and poor family desperately needs a helping hand as I will start to study in grade 1 soon.

LOVE’s note:  A family sponsorship is highly recommended but any help is appreciated.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Prov 31:8-9 NIV)  "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
