Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

“I was just wondering, if Ba Na hills are popular among the Vietnamese? How much would it cost for a trip there, per person, approximately? Do you think my sponsored child would enjoy a trip there? I thought maybe I can gift him a trip there to celebrate his graduation from secondary school. I would love to have him and maybe his sister there, but I would also like to invite some other children from L.O.V.E. to join in the excursion. Well, I really want them to experience something like a holiday, like a special trip. Not something they would see in their everyday life. So I’m very hopeful that we could make it happen for them.” said the dear sponsor who funded the trip to Ba Na Hills lately.

Thanks to the good intention and a generous heart of a dear sponsor from Singapore among the many other generous ones that our nine sponsored children, who either have the most special family circumstances or because their outstanding result at school, got a happy and enjoyable day at Ba Na Hills. LOVE sincerely expresses our thanks to you who have helped the many poor and needy children and families through the sponsorship and other programs of LOVE over the years. We wish you and family the best.

COLLEGE GRADUATES

L.O.V.E. started the sponsorship program over 10 years ago and thanks to God, many poor and needy children got benefits from it for their educational path. Every year in June and July, we’ve gladly and honorably witnessed some or many completing their college /university education and eagerly enter the society by seeking a good job to better support their lives and families. Their achievement is truly a big motivation and encouragement for us, L.O.V.E.’s staff, to continue moving forward in serving L.O.V.E.’s mission. And of course, this result definitely couldn’t be achieved without you – all the kind-hearted and generous sponsors all over the world. Many thanks to you all!

Let’s read a few lines in a letter from one of the graduated students and see some photos from their graduation day.

“When I looked back the road you accompanied me over years, you were there for me at any time I faced difficulties and supported me to have a chance to continue my study. You had been attached to me and helped me for so long, haven’t you dear auntie? You had shared with me so much joy and sadness. Every year you gave me a birthday present and many other gifts. If I sit down, think back and count them out, I don’t know how much it’ll be. I know when entering real life and career, everything will not always easy but I’ll keep up my energy and courage and will do all my best.”

“I give thanks to you for everything you’d done and helped me. I would like to show my great honor and deep gratitude to you for all.”

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

PLEASE HELP

Share your love and faith

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

About me: At present, my family is in great need of help as there is only my father, a builder, is a main earner to raise 5 of us. Since my grandma, 80 years old, who does not have a good health because of dilated cardiomyopathy, my mother has to spend most of her time to take care of her both at home and hospital. My father sometimes has to take some days off from work because of the pain caused by gout or because of rainy days. As a result, our monthly income is quite low and unstable. My older brother will be in grade 10 after the summer and my younger sister will enter 1st grade. Surely, this is a very heavy burden laid on my father’s shoulders. We all do look forward to receive a helping hand.

LOVE’s note: A family sponsorship is highly recommended.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Prov 31:8-9 NIV)  "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
