Love Of Vietnam Expressed

Helping the poor and needy

(1 John 3:16-18 NKJV): By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Month of visits

The 1st visit

After the long Tet holiday, LOVE’s staff came back to work. We were happy to welcome the first sponsor from Germany in the lunar new year. That was Mr. Thomas. He met his sponsored child Hoang Hoa and her sister on a sunny afternoon and they spent a short time talking together at LOVE’s office. Then, they had a joyful time shopping, playing games in the Big C supermarket, and going sightseeing along Bach Dang street. More nice time and beautiful pictures were taken at Asia Park and they took a ride on the Sun Wheel also. The end of the wonderful time was dinner at a nice pizzeria where they could impress the last feelings and say goodbye to each other.

Mrs. Britta, her husband and son also visited in March. They spent the first afternoon touring around Danang city with their two sponsored girls. And in another afternoon, they took two other sponsored boys on a trip to Ba Na Hill.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

 PLEASE HELP

Share your love and faith

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

About me: My parents divorced 3 years ago and my father gives no support to us. I have 3 siblings, but one my older brother lives with my father now. My mother works as a hair dresser but she can do the simple work such as wash hair, clean nails, etc. So her income is not much. As for me, I have intellectual disability at the moderate level, so I have to learn in the special school program. Sometimes I am normal like others children, sometimes I have such a bad headache that I can’t do anything. I try to suffer from the pain for my mother’s sake. Only my mother earns money to raise me and my two siblings in school. I hope to receive your help to keep going to school better.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, {14} and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Luke 19:8-9 NIV)  But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount." {9} Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children!
