Looking Back |
Since we distributed stipends and Tet gifts in January and the staff was off much of February, there is little to report. I have included pictures of the house that was built and nearly finished. To add a little excitement to the month, we had a visitor from the US and a couple from Germany. They were a real blessing to many. |
A new home for My Hien and her family |

Stair rails, tile upstairs and paint inside and out is all that is needed. They are now living in the House. |
We were blessed to be visited by Craig from the USA in February Craig visited Family 2 Children's Home which houses 13 boys aged 13-18. When I asked how many planned to go to college, no hands went up. When I returned to pick up Craig and his interrupter after they had lunch with the boys, they were all crowded around Craig who was sharing his faith and work. I believe many lives were changed as the boys look at college as a better opportunity. Each was given a calculator and a pack of notebooks by Craig. |

Here are the boys, house mother and Craig and myself. | Craig handing out calculators and notebooks | Craig sharing with a group of the boys. |
Craig also visited one of our student houses. The owner of this house, who lost both legs in the war, shared a brief testimony, including how God has brought boys to live in his house and how some have now become pastors. |
LOVE was also blessed by a visit from the Hasenohr’s from Germany They visited their two sponsored families and this is their 2nd visit to meet with them. The sponsors, the sponsored children and their families had a lot of fun when together hanging out, eating, talking, playing and shopping. |

In the photos are Anh Tuyet and her brother, Ngoc Dieu and her sisters and mother and Mr. & Mrs. Hasenohr. They’re in Hoi An. | Having fun taking photos of one another |

| In February, I also visited another student house where several Christian minority students live (LOVE is helping these boys, but have not found a sponsor for their house.) They need a sponsor, a desk top computer and one of the boys, who is studying to be an architect, needs a strong lap top. After my visit the police came; they talked to the owner of the house who told the boys that if a foreigner visits them again, she will kick them out of the house. Please pray for these boys. |
| Our German friends helped Nguyen Thi Khanh - a previously sponsored student with gall stones operation and freed her from the severe pains she had been suffering from. Please pray for her recovery and strength to work hard for her dream of going to university this year. | |

Sponsors Needed Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors. To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang. Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc. PLEASE HELP Share your love and faith These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them. |

About me: We are a poor family and we are in the list of poor household of the local government. My father died when I was a young boy. My oldest brother who used to contribute his income with our mother just married and is living with our family but he has to take care of his own family now. My older sister lives in the orphanage in Da Nang. My second older brother is the first student at Information Technology University in Ha Noi. At the moment, my mother works as a food shop helper to raise us, but her income does not offer enough to keep us at school. Moreover, her health is getting worse and worse because of the arthritis.
