| Love Of Vietnam Expressed By Helping the poor and needy
Web page: www.loveofvietnamexpressed.org | (1 John 3:16-18 NKJV) By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

A hymn of praise
(Isa 12 NKJV) And in that day you will say: "O LORD, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. {2} Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; 'For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.'" {3} Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. {4} And in that day you will say: "Praise the LORD, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted. {5} Sing to the LORD, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth. {6} Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!"
Student Houses Presently LOVE is helping to support 10 houses. Eight are now sponsored and two do not have sponsors. We have also been asked to provide for another house for boys in central Danang and another house for girls in the north campus of Danang University. Below are houses that need sponsors. The minimum to sponsor a house is $80, but more is needed to help finance training programs, training camps and evangelism.
We try to provide a computer, gas stove, furniture for each house. At present we need 5 computers ($400-500 each), and another $500 for gas stoves and beds and wardrobes. | Sponsors Needed Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors. To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $25 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang. Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc. PLEASE HELP Share your love and faith These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $25 a month or the whole family for $40 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

About me: My parents both are poor farmers. Although they work hard everyday, they cannot earn enough to provide all of us with food, school fees and other daily needs because the school fees are so high. Moreover, three of us are in school. My mother is also often sick. I wish I would have a sponsor, giving us some assistance that makes our strenuous life relieved.

Please share our burden with others. Even as I was writing this newsletter, we had sponsors for 9 more children and 2 student houses join us in our outreach to the Vietnamese people. Many of you support us with your prayers. Now I am asking you to put feet to your prayers by sharing our burden and need with your church, civic organizations, veteran organizations, family and friends, as well as business associates. If Christian, ask them to pray for us, ask them to make a donation [one time or regularly], ask them to sponsor a child or a student house.
With the present financial crisis in the world, now is the time for Christians to really stretch their faith. It is not a time to follow the world, become fearful, withdraw. Now as never before, it is the time to reach out to the needy and poor, the widow, the orphan, the fearful and lonely. Now is when we can show the world what Jesus is all about.
(2 Cor 9:6-11 NKJV) But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. {7} So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. {8} And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. {9} As it is written: "He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever." {10} Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, {11} while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.
(Prov 3:27-28 NKJV) Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so. {28} Do not say to your neighbor, "Go, and come back, And tomorrow I will give it," When you have it with you.
(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
