Tet- the year of the Rat Tet, which means the first morning of the first day of the new year, is the Vietnamese New Year. The celebration lasts for 7 days. Like the Chinese, the Lunar New Year is one of the most celebrated holidays. | |||||||||||
Character: Full of charm, the Rat is the object of admiration. A true sentimentalist, family and friends are close to their heart. Their intellect and foresight bring success, money, and work. Rats are constant seekers of new ventures and travel.
Revealed I know a rat that comes as an angel of light. He truly is full of charm, admired by demons and all that is evil. Truly sentimental about himself, a deceiver, greedy for success and money, a liar with great promises. Satan is his name and a constant seeker of ways to steal, and to kill, and to destroy us all. Religion is one of his charming deceptions.
Jesus said: I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. {11} "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. {12} "But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. {13} "The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. {14} "I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. {15} "As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. {16} "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. (John 10:11-16)
Truly, a real Christian is someone who truly knows God, “and am known by My own”. A religious person may know about God, but does he know God. A Christian is one who has a relationship with God.

In December, several of our student houses invited unbelieving students from their schools to a Christmas party where they celebrated Christ,s birth and introduced Him to their friends. Several decisions for Christ were made. LOVE and the sponsor funds paid the expenses - the students and Jesus did the rest. | |||||||||||

I have wanted to replace a leaky roof and paint our home in Danang for several years. Now thanks to a most generous supporter who said "This is for your family, not into the ministry please!". Well, my family and I will be warmer and dryer and will feel better when a foreigner visits our home (As Christians we have the same citizenship, so are not really foreigners.). Elizabeth Student House is the newest of our student houses and was established when Hannah’s House had too many students. | Limited space in one student house of 6 girls is solved with queen size bunk beds. | The newest of our houses is Sarah’s House. The cost is $75 a month to sponsor one of the houses, this not only pays rent on the house, but other needs and most important for training materials, Bible camps, and outreach to other university students. The girls in Hannah #2 have chosen Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist. She was a woman (Luke 1:5-6 NKJV) ..... a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. {6} And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. At present, five of the Houses have a sponsor. We have just added Sarah’s which has 6 girls. Contact Reggie. At present Sarah’s has no computer and Hannah’s and Esther’s have borrowed ones, but will soon loose them. The cost of a new computer and desk is about $500, a good used one $300. | |||||||||||
