| Love Of Vietnam Expressed By Helping the poor and needy
Web page: www.loveofvietnamexpressed.org | (1 John 3:16-18 NKJV) By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

The Challenge Correction: Please help us during this critical period. Can we make him pay the full $10,000? $20,000 would really enable us to complete all we had hoped to do this year. The children need school uniforms, school insurance, and textbooks. The average cost per child is around $15 per child. That is an addition of nearly $4,000 we need over the next 3 months. Add to this the scholarships and other needs; the total just for the next 3 months is about $6,000 above our regular cost. (that is over $3,000 each of the 3 months) In addition, this is the time we view new applications for the 2007-2008 school year. We expect over 100 new applications. Most of these will be truly needy. LOVE would like to be able to help as many of these children as we can. The cost per child is $100 a year. That is $5,000 needed to help 50 new children.
University Students We now have 5 student homes. Totaling 40 students. Our newest house is Esther’s house. At present there are 5 students. |
Children in Danang and Quang Nam are being measured for school uniforms. We expect to have nearly 200 uniforms made. Below is what they will look like.
Uniforms are worn by all students in 1st to 9th grade and the boys in 10th to 12th . Girls in 10th to 12th wear the “ao dia”, a traditional Vietnamese dress. See below.
Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.
We have many children who need sponsors. To see our children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help many of these will not finish school. For just $20 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter.
Perhaps you could help. For more information about these children or an application form please contact Reggie who lives in Danang
These and the ones below urgently need sponsors who not only will help support a child for $20 a month or the family for $35 a month, but will write and encourage these children.

PLEASE HELP A CHILD THIS MONTH (2 Cor 9:9-11 NKJV) As it is written: "He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever." Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.
