(1 John 3:16-18 NKJV)  By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.  But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?  My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Below are pictures of Christmas in Vietnam

Each year the celebration of Christmas gets bigger here in Vietnam. Though most of the time when a Church is shown on TV, The press, or the internet in Vietnam it is a Catholic Church, the message of Christmas is getting out. Sometimes as I read of the war against Christmas in the U.S. I am thinking that the war is not really against Christmas, but against Christians.

Here in Vietnam Christians are still persecuted and some jailed or even die for Christ, Christmas is getting the message out and many are embracing it, not Christ, but God is using it to reach out to those who look at Christians in ignorance. As these learn of Christian beliefs the knowledge will reduce their fears.

Meditate on this: The Triumphs of the Kingdom Age

(Isa 25:1-4 NKJV)  O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. {2} For You have made a city a ruin, A fortified city a ruin, A palace of foreigners to be a city no more; It will never be rebuilt. {3} Therefore the strong people will glorify You; The city of the terrible nations will fear You. {4} For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

God's Promise:

(Isa 29:19 NKJV)  The humble also shall increase their joy in the LORD, And the poor among men shall rejoice In the Holy One of Israel.

The children here in Vietnam need your prayers and your help!
