The Old Testament book of Haggai describes a time not unlike ours, when the people of Israel were wondering why so many natural calamities had befallen them. Like us, they had thought of every reason but God.

Please pray that LOVE can find a LOVE representative - office manager – bookkeeper to replace our current secretary/treasurer who is moving back to Vietnam. This can be one or two people. There are 3 basic requirements: 1) love Jesus 2) love the poor 3)be trainable. The representative/office manager must live in Florida.

Vu Quynh Anh was born with her heart on the outside of her chest. It is kept covered to keep it from drying out until she is strong enough for an operation.

Typhoon Damrey victims, families of 120 who died and the displaced people of the more than 10,400 homes and schools in Vietnam that were destroyed or damaged. A preliminary government estimate put losses at $44 million USD.

The Central Flood and Storm Control Committee has urgently requested assistance for three provinces that suffered from storm No.7. Coastal provinces from Quang Ninh to Da Nang were hit by storms, with strong wind and heavy rain.

LOVE really needs your help. We still have no sponsors for our university homes. We operate 3 in Danang and will open a 4^th soon. These are Christian students from poor families who live outside Danang. Some are minority tribal people. Most of these wish to serve God full time. When they are not studying their school subjects they are studying the Bible and ministry. They are to be teachers, nurses, engineers, business people, evangelist, and more.

It cost as little as $50- $60 a month to sponsor a home. We will send you a picture and profile of each student in the home. Most of the students have email addresses and are eager to email you. These students will be future leaders in the church and community. Some will become evangelist and pastors or preachers. Can your Sunday School Class or your Church sponsor a home?

Three very happy boys receive new bikes to ride to school. We have had children that took as long as an hour to walk to school. That is 2 hours a day 6 days a week that they could have been studying or doing chores.
