BULLETIN UPDATE
Greetings,
Job 29:11 When the ear heard, then it blessed me, and when the eye saw, then it approved me;
Job 29:12 Because I delivered the poor who cried out, the fatherless and the one who had no helper.
Job 29:13 The blessing of a perishing man came upon me, and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.
Job 29:14 I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; my justice was like a robe and a turban.
Job 29:15 I was eyes to the blind, and I was feet to the lame.
Job 29:16 I was a father to the poor, and I searched out the case that I did not know.
The "I" is Jesus (we are His instruments). Come, let us labor together.

We have been helping a number of children in the hospital and are in the process of screening children for scholarships and other financial help so they can attend school. My dauhter's adoption of a 2 year old girl from Nha Trang, Vietnam (my tenth grandchild), is completed and they are back home in North Carolina. You can see me with her on our home page.

Prayer and Praise Bulletin #4
My daughter, Tina, received approval by officials in Nha Trang for the adoption of Trang, a 2 year old Vietnamese girl. "This has been 2 years of labor pains," my daughter said. The Giving and Receiving ceremony was Monday, June 11. Next we went to HCMC for final INS approval, passport for Trang, and her visa to go to America. Everything went smoothly and they are all home safe in the U.S. Thank all of you who were praying for her.
We have begun screening 50 very poor school age children in Da Nang for scholarships so they can go to school. Pray as we select 30, or that God will provide funds to give to more than 30. We would like to provide for another 30 of poor families of believers, but lack of funds prevents that at this time because this would be in addition to our contract with officals here. We have already visited several families who need extensive work on their homes. We have committed to one of these homes.
The advance team from Operation Blessing will arrive July 28 and the remaining 43 of the medical team will arrive August 4. Preparation here has gone very well, and we have most of the interpreters signed up. Thank you again for your prayers. The mission will run from August 6 to August 17. They will be at Hoa Vang Hospital, Da Nang General Hospital, and Da Nang Eye Hospital. They plan to do 10 cornea transplants at the eye hospital and several hundred cataract and other operations. There are many firsts here. This is the largest team to come at one time, the first to work in 3 hospitals at the same time, and the first cataract transplants in Vietnam.
Pray for the team. They are forbidden to verbally share their faith, but the love of Jesus will work through them, and there are no restrictions on the Holy Spirit. He can work miracles.
Pray for the Vietnamese volunteers - many are Christians. Pray for the unsaved ones.
Pray for the return trip home. Pray about follow-up on the patients.
1 Cor. 14:15 What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the Spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing wih the Spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.
